Oil portraits are painted on finest quality Belgian linen using professional quality oils and archival techniques.
Head and Shoulders: $3,000 to $4,000

Half Figure with Hands: $4,000 to $6,000
(28" x 20" to 40" x 30")
Three-Quarter Length: $6,000 to $10,000
(36" x 24" to 60" x 40")
Full Figure: $6,500 to $15,000
(40" x 28" to 80" x 50")
Dimensions listed are examples of approximate area of canvas only,
and are flexible. Prices listed are for plain or very simple backgrounds.
Detailed backgrounds add an additional $500 to $2,500 depending
on the size and complexity of the portrait. Smaller sizes listed
would generally be for children, as I usually paint the portrait
life size, or just slightly smaller. Adding a second figure in the
portrait would add an additional 75% to the cost. Extensive travel
expense is also extra.
Graphite or charcoal portraits on paper are also an option. Prices
starting at $500.
